The Education Academy Bell to Bell School Policy

Effective immediately, students are prohibited from using personal internet-enabled devices during the Regular school day- these include smartphones, tablets, smart watches and glasses. Students are discouraged from bringing in personal internet-enabled devices to school.
The Education Academy will confiscate all devices at our security checkpoint. Please note The Education Academy will not be held responsible for loss, theft or damage to any item brought into the school, including tech devices. Further, these devices if used on the district transportation to and from the school should not be used- to prevent sharing and possible dropping causing damage and more importantly, safety issues on the bus-(please speak to your children about use on the bus.)
Further, please note that In cases of emergencies and/or security issues student devices and belongings will remain locked up in the building if evacuation is required. Use of internet-enabled devices has been noted and documented to complicate communication with Emergency Services and Law Enforcement. Your child’s safety is our utmost priority all day and every day.
