Social Clubs

The Education Academy provides Social Club opportunities for every student. These club activities are tied into our second and third marking periods. The purpose of our club experience is to tie together formal and informal learning. Student participation can contribute to the development of personal responsibility, moral values, cooperation, emotional maturity, self-discipline, social competence, individuality, leadership, a realization of the value of group goals, and an understanding of democratic processes.

The mission of The Education Academy’s school counseling program is to provide comprehensive developmental counseling opportunities which address the academic and personal/social development of all students. Support is consistently provided to maximize student potential and academic achievement. Character Education and Anti-Bullying initiatives are also a prime area of focus with our school-based counseling.

At The Education Academy Music is taught as an art form in its own right. Our Music curriculum is designed to provide a creative and aesthetic appreciation and to teach the skills necessary to understand fundamental concepts in Music. The Music curriculum embraces multi-sensory methods covering five major areas: singing, rhythm, listening, expression and appreciation.
